The Grange is surrounded by relaxing excursions and fun days out to suit all the family
Nestled above the Helford River, the village enjoys a peaceful rural setting while remaining closely connected to Cornwall’s rich maritime heritage. The Grange overlooks the beautiful valley that descends onto Port Navas and the Port Navas Yacht club, just a 10 minute walk away.
Beaches
The area is home to numerous gorgeous beaches and coves including Maenporth beach, Swanpool beach and Gyllyngvase beach, as well as the Helford passage beach, Trebah and Grebe.
Dining
Some of the best restaurants in Cornwall are in the Falmouth area including Slice of Cornwall (see photo), the Ferry boat inn, the potager and Sabzi. The Port Navas Yacht Club also offers delicious dinners from Thursday to Saturday.
Excursions
For the more adventurous holiday makers Adrenaline Quarry is the perfect day out - promising fun for all the family. Alternatively Helford river cruises offers a more relaxed tour of the stunning estuary either by boat pr by kayak.
More days out
Other activities in the area include visiting the Cornish seal sanctuary in Gweek, Trebah and Glendurgan gardens and a day shopping in Falmouth before taking the ferry to St Mawes.
